Lindenwood University continues its campus growth with the new state of the art facility known as the Library and Academic Resources Center.  The LARC will serve students and staff as a technologically advanced information center.  The building is designed as a companion to the campus architectural style, while embracing new technology and innovation, such as electrochromic glass, high efficiency lighting, etc.

The four level, 100,000-square-foot facility will combine traditional library functions with academic support services, that will assist students and facilitate serious research at all levels of academia.

"The stunning new building will include the Mary Ambler Archives, classrooms, and work spaces for adjunct instructors, as well as a variety of student services, including the Writing Center, Student and Academic Support Services (SASS), Career Services, English as a Second Language, International Students and Scholars, and Lindenwood Online...The new building will be a wonderful environment in which students can learn using the latest technology and media resources." says a university spokesperson. In addition, the facility houses a theatre, cafe, ample study and collaboration spaces including an outdoor balcony overlooking the historic campus.*

The two story space known as 'The Grove' has views of the campus through the multi-colored glass, 'tree' shaped curtain wall system.  It is an information and gathering space,  as well as a place for studying, collaboration and meeting up with a fellow student or staff member.

The facility offers many areas for studying, meeting, and presentations.  Spaces are designed for flexibility including the area on the third floor which is wonderful for presentation and fundraising opportunities.  The indoor and outdoor patio seating can be served by an adjacent catering kitchen.

The Cafe is a two-story space with a mezzanine overlooking the campus and outdoor seating area.
